Signal-Fire Briefing
BY INVITATION · SINGAPORE

Let AI assist the office — without ever losing control of it.

A family office runs on discretion. The hesitation over AI is well-founded: one uncontrolled action with confidential information is one too many. We make AI usable here the only way it should be — supervised, boxed within limits you set, stopped in one second if it strays, and leaving a private record of everything it touched.

Advised by the author of The New Trustees — built for principals and family-office teams, not IT departments.

THE POSITION YOU'RE IN

Doing nothing has a cost. Doing it carelessly has a bigger one.

Your office quietly absorbs an enormous amount of administrative weight — correspondence, document preparation, consolidations, reporting across entities, meeting papers, compliance follow-ups. AI can lift most of it. The reason you haven't is the right one: you cannot allow a system you don't control to see, send, or act on family matters.

So the question was never whether AI could help — it plainly can. It was whether it could be trusted to stay inside the walls. That is precisely the problem we solve: not clever AI, but contained AI, with the principal always holding the final word and the off switch.

APPROACH

Introduced in stages. Never as a leap of faith.

You approve each step before the next begins. Spend and exposure follow proof — nothing is switched on across the office until it has earned that trust on one contained workflow.

I · CONFIDENTIAL REVIEW

Readiness review

A private teardown of one workflow you'd want lifted. We map it against the governance framework and return a costed, staged plan. Nothing leaves the room.

II · GOVERNED PILOT

One workflow, contained

We build that single workflow as supervised agents running on Visioneer — inside hard limits, with your sign-off at the moments that matter, run alongside your existing process.

III · OPERATE

Extend, quietly

Once proven, we extend to further workflows at your pace, with ongoing oversight, a standing kill switch, and a private, permanent record of every action.

WHAT IT HANDLES

The weight it takes off — none of it uncontained.

Correspondence & documents

Drafting letters, memos, and standard documents in the office's own voice — every one held for your review before it goes anywhere.

Research & summaries

Reading long documents, structures, and reports down to the points that matter — with sources shown, so nothing is taken on faith.

Reporting & consolidation

Pulling periodic reporting together across entities and holdings into a clean, consistent format — inside your data, not out on someone's cloud.

Compliance & entity follow-up

Tracking filings, renewals, and periodic reviews across the structure, and preparing the papers — with a human authorising every action that leaves the office.

Meeting preparation

Assembling briefing packs, agendas, and prior-decision context ahead of family or advisory meetings, ready for you to refine.

Whatever is repetitive — and sensitive

If it's routine enough to delegate but too confidential to hand outside, it's exactly what this is for.

CONTROL · POWERED BY VISIONEER

Four guarantees, before any agent does a thing.

Every agent runs through Visioneer, our governance platform — never around it. That single fact is what makes the rest possible.

The boundary

You define what each agent may see, touch, and do. It cannot cross that line — not by mistake, not by drift. The walls are set before it starts.

The kill switch

If an agent ever behaves in a way you don't like, it is stopped in under a second — permanently, and on the record. You are never waiting on anyone to intervene.

Your hand on the release

Anything that sends, files, or commits waits for a person to authorise it. The office keeps the final word on every action that leaves the room.

The private record

Every action an agent takes is written to a permanent, time-stamped log that only you hold — so you can answer, at any time, exactly what was done and on whose authority.

Aligned to Singapore's national framework for governing autonomous AI. The deep mechanics are Visioneer's; what matters for the office is that every agent is contained, watched, and instantly stoppable, with proof.

THE CASE

Measured in hours reclaimed and risk removed — not headcount.

The return here isn't a productivity chart. It's quieter and more valuable: senior time returned to judgment rather than administration, work handled discreetly in-house that you'd otherwise hesitate to send out, and the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what your systems did.

Reclaimed time

Hours of principal and staff attention returned each week — from correspondence, reporting, and follow-ups.

Contained risk

Confidential work kept inside the office, under limits and a kill switch, instead of sent to outside hands.

Provable control

A private record that lets you — or your trustees and advisors — see precisely what was done, and by whose authority.

Figures are established privately, against your own workflows, in the readiness review.

FUNDING

The grant question — handled for you, if it applies.

Most principals aren't sure whether Singapore's support schemes reach a family office, or how one would even claim them. The honest answer is that it depends on how your office is structured. Where you operate through an eligible entity, elements of the engagement can often be arranged as a claimable capability project — and we handle that structuring and the paperwork ourselves, so you never navigate the scheme.

Where it doesn't apply, the case stands on its own. Either way, you'll have a clear, unambiguous answer before a dollar is committed — not a maze to work through afterwards.

WHY US

This is advised by someone who has spent a career inside the world of trustees, family offices, and cross-border structures — not a software vendor learning your world on your time.

Author of The New Trustees and The Architecture of Resilience. We speak the language of discretion because we come from it.

A private, 30-minute briefing.

We walk one of your own workflows, show exactly how it would be contained, and leave you with a costed, no-obligation next step. Nothing is recorded and nothing leaves the conversation.

Held in confidence. We reply personally, within one business day.

Questions we're usually asked

What happens in the briefing?

You describe the workload you'd most like lifted. We show, plainly, how it would be contained — the limits, the human authority, the private record, and the kill switch. Thirty minutes, no slides, no obligation.

What would you need from us?

Very little to begin. A conversation about one workflow, and sight of how it's done today. The readiness review works from samples and process — never your live confidential data. Nothing is connected to anything until you have seen the plan and approved it.

Will family information be safe?

It is the first thing we design for. Agents operate only inside limits you set. Sensitive details are stripped before anything is processed. Nothing is sent or committed without a person authorising it. Every action is written to a private log that only the office holds — and if anything ever behaves wrongly, it stops in under a second. Nothing is handed to a black box.

How is it introduced — and what does it cost?

In stages you approve one at a time. A contained readiness review comes first (fixed fee, from S$4,800), returning a costed plan. Only then is anything built, and only on one workflow. Ongoing operation — platform, oversight and support included — from S$3,500 a month. You are never asked to commit to the whole thing up front.

Is the governance platform an extra cost?

No. Visioneer — the platform every agent runs through — is included. One figure, nothing separate to buy.
